Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Coached By Katy (“we”, “I”, Katy Padam) handles personal data when you use coachedbykaty.com. If you have any questions, please use the contact page.

What I collect and why

  • Coaching applications. When you apply, the form is provided by Jotform. It asks for your name, email, optional phone number, goals, Instagram handle and a few questions about coaching. I use this only to assess your application and contact you about coaching.
  • Messages and retreat interest. If you send a message or join the retreat interest list, I receive your name, email and what you write, and use it only to reply or to tell you about retreat dates.
  • Newsletter. If you sign up, your email (and first name, if given) is stored with Mailchimp. Mailchimp asks you to confirm before you are added. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Analytics. Analytics cookies are only set if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. They help me understand which pages are useful. You can decline and the site works the same.

Please don't send health or medical details through the website forms. If coaching needs that information, I will ask for it separately.

  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies

I never sell your personal data.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries and applications only as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the length of coaching and any legal record-keeping period. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used, at any time. Contact me through the contact page or via Instagram. If you are in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
